Mercor is recruiting Senior Full-Stack Engineers based in Latin America for a full-time, remote role with Orchard Robotics.
In this role, you will utilize extensive breadth & depth of frontend (Typescript/React) and backend (Python, Flask, PostgreSQL) knowledge to help Orchard build new solutions in their Fruit Scope OS (web app) – transforming how farmers manage their crops using precision data and AI.

You are a good fit if:
- You’re comfortable working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud), React frontend, Python/Flask backend, and PostgreSQL databases.
- You have hands-on experience building production-quality web apps at scale.
- You’re a hard worker with relentless persistence.
- You’re not afraid of moving fast, learning what you don’t know, and working autonomously.
- You’re comfortable working on all parts of the stack.

- You will work directly with a small, driven founding team, including the CEO.
- You will work on AI-powered systems that manage billions of fruit across millions of trees.
- You will ship scalable software to analyze massive datasets, deliver real-time insights, and optimize farming operations.
- You will own development across frontend, backend, UI/UX, database, and infrastructure.
- You will move fast and iterate based on feedback from some of the largest farms in the U.S.
- You will work as a remote, full-time contractor.
With respect to pay and legal status:
- Compensation will be based on ability and experience level.
- We will pay you on a weekly basis.
- You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
