About the Role
Silicon Valley’s top AI companies work with Mercor to find domain experts who can help train and evaluate their models. As a General Manager (GM) at Mercor, you will drive the tactical execution of these projects, ensure top-notch service to customers, and single-handedly drive millions of dollars in revenue. In doing so, you will have a significant impact on Mercor’s long-term growth. A General Manager will report directly to either Mercor’s President or Head of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a significant chunk of business, managing projects with a key enterprise customer
- Foster strong relationships with researchers at leading AI labs and tech companies, anticipating client needs and identifying opportunities for project expansion
- Manage and mentor a team of Strategic Project Leads (SPLs) and Senior SPLs, driving high performance and professional development
- Collaborate closely with the wider Operations team to execute project strategies, meet client objectives, and drive process optimizations
What Are We Looking For?
- 8-10 years of experience in consulting, finance, law, or similar organizations, or post-MBA in a startup operations role
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working with customers
Compensation
- Base cash comp from $170K-$250k
- Generous equity grant vested over 4 years
- Commission-based bonus in the form of cash and equity
- A $20K relocation bonus (if moving to the Bay Area)
- A $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of our office)
