Mercor is hiring experienced Musicians to evaluate generative musical AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab.
You will assess model outputs across in different categories of music in your bilingual language.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards
- Score quality of musical training data
- Experience writing music in the domain language listed in the title
- Able to understand directions in English language
- Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology
- Annotate songs in detail: genre/sub-genre classification, song structure, vocal/instrumental characteristics via a structured taxonomy
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer for at least 3+ years
- Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics
- College degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyrics
- Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Korean and English
Project Timeline

- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Commitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per week

Contract and Payment Terms

- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
